What: FIRST NIGHT WHISTLER A New Year�s Eve celebration takes over Whistler Village Square and the TELUS Conference Centre to say out with the old and in with the new. Bands feature Spirit of the West, as well as art workshops and street entertainment. Tickets $15 for adults and $8 for kids 12 years and under. No alcohol allowed.

What: GREEN DRINKS A monthly occasion, Hilltrip is hosting a Green Drinks session at Black�s Pub. It�s a regular event for anyone interested in green stuff. There�ll be free apples and beer and a chance to meet to chat, socialize and debate with others passionate about the environment.

What: PARENT EDUCATION EVENING The Whistler Alcohol and Drug Committee presents an education evening for parents. Sea to Sky Comunity Services Drug Prevention and Education workers and others will present a discussion on drug facts, information and trends to help youth make healthy decisions.
