What: WOMEN OF WHISTLER Bill Keen, VP finance and chief financial officer of the North Shore Credit Union, will show Whistler how to "weather the storm" in difficult economic times. Cost $27, $30 after April 10.

What: TELUS WORLD SKI AND SNOWBOARD FESTIVAL It's no secret that Whistler could use a nice party. TWSSF is perfect. It's the 14th incarnation of the festival and it promises "the greatest show on snow."

What: WHOOSSH! Get your party on! Whistler hosts its only party night for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transexual (LGBT) crowd and the last one of the season! This'll be a retro night with $8 cover to benefit the Okanagan Pride Society.

What: AUTHOR AND NUTRITIONIST SALLY ERREY The author of "Staying Alive! Cookbook for Cancer Free Living" shares with you the top 20 cancer-fighting foods. Includes a book signing, raffle and samples of cancer prevention food.

What: PEMBERTON FLYING CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Here's an opportunity to meet the Spud Valley's top aviation enthusiasts and share knowledge and stories of the sky.

What: PROVINCIAL ALL-CANDIDATES MEETING The Whistler Chamber of Commerce hosts an all-candidates' meeting with 10 days to go before the provincial election. See the Liberals, Greens and NDP square off at home.

What: FRIENDS OF THE PEMBERTON LIBRARY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Friends of the Pemberton Library host their AGM. All are welcome to come and celebrate the accomplishments of the friends this year.
