What: AWARE ENVIRO FILM FESTIVAL The Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment presents its annual Enviro Film Festival, this year screening three films including End of the Line, Rare Bird and Gardens of Destiny. What: WHISTLER NATURALISTS MONTHLY BIRDWALK The Whistler Naturalists present their monthly bird walk, a chance to see the warblers and finches that roam our trees. Meet at the Valley Trail, foot of Lorimer Road to walk to either Green Lake or Rainbow Park.

What: WOMEN OF WHISTLER The Women of Whistler host their last meeting of the season to celebrate the Women of the Games! What: GIANT PLANT SALE The Friends of the Library present the annual Giant Plant Sale, asking Whistler gardeners to contribute healthy perennials, vegetables and small shrubs to make the sale a success. It sells out every year, so please donate plants by talking to Christy Auer at (604) 932-4062.

What: CANADA DAY PARADE The Whistler Chamber of Commerce invites all businesses and community groups to join in Canada Day celebrations. Sing, dance, jump, walk or ride your bike. It's a great chance to show your business or group to more than 6,000 spectators. To be accompanied by a big party that the muni is paying for!
