What: 100% Jerk Dinner LUNA presents another Jamaica BBQ with DJ Phroh. On the menu is spicy jerk chicken or a homemade Jamaican patty fresh off the BBQ with rice and peas and a lemon soda. $7 for LUNA members; $12 for everyone else.

What: Clean Bin Project: The Documentary Film A comedic eco-documentary about the serious issue of garbage. A regular couple go head to head in a competition to see who can swear off consumerism and produce the least amount of garbage in an entire year. Entry by donation; free for students.

Where: Multi Purpose Room, Quest University Canada, Squamish

 

What: AWARE Kids Nature Club: Winter Scavenger Hunt Children ages 6-12 are invited to Eeplore the winter seasonal wonders, get up close and personal with snow, learn how animals survive in the winter and more.  Boots and snowpants or raingear would be a good idea.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  For more information email awarekids@hotmail.com.

What: QUEST LECTURE SERIES: Innovation in Education: Quest University Canada Join David Helfand, President of Quest University, for a lecture on the unique curriculum and institutional structure of this local university, which will be celebrating its first graduating class this spring.  Free to attend.

When: Tuesday, February 1, 7 p.m.

Where: Community Room, Whistler Public Library

What: Leadership Sea to Sky Public Forum: "Bold Leadership for BC: What Will It Take?" With Paul Summerville and Cohort VII.

When: Thursday, February 3, 7 p.m.
