What: Urban Gardening in Squamish - Join the Squamish Climate Action Network (Squamish CAN) to learn about the proposed CAN Farm in Squamish. The CAN Farm proposal would turn a one acre parcel of land in downtown Squamish into a progressive model of what is possible in urban agriculture while providing economic, social and environmental return on investments. The farm could be an essential tool for our communities to not only understand the massive challenges facing the current global industrial model of agriculture, but also possible solutions while providing food security, health and prosperity to individuals, the community and the environment.
