Singer songwriter Rachel Thom brings her golden voice and keyboard stylings to the lakeside tent at noon and 2p.m., and artist Christina Nick reads from her travel sketchbooks created in southern France and elsewhere at 1p.m.. It's also the last chance to drop in for one of Papa Josh's Art of Jamming guitar workshops for intermediate and advanced players at 2:30pm. More info at: www.thepointartists.com

What: Aware Kids Nature Club: This week the club presents The Story of Stuff. Children ages 5-11 are invited to learn more about how "stuff" has an impact on the environment and society. There will be fun games, activities, and art activities to demonstrate how every day items and our use of them impact the earth. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Younger children can accompany their siblings, but please note that the education material is planned with 5-12 year olds in mind.

What: Rare Book Sale: Whistler Museum will host rare book sale with bookseller David Ellis this weekend. Featured items include mountaineering, First Nations history and signed books written by Alex Philip.
