The team’s purpose is to promote freeskiing at grassroots levels, where talent is strong and riders gain local attention.
Members of the house team often graduate to Team Venom, Spyder’s pro team. In the 2003/04 house team two members have since moved up to Team Venom.
Members are chosen based on their skills, personality, and passion for the sport.
Most, but not all members, compete at some level during the season.
Each house team member will receive a Venom product sponsorship, including a team jacket and pants, gloves, and other clothing accessories. Freeriders of all skill levels are encouraged to submit a resume, proposal, photos, video footage, or any other creative form of sponsorship request to the Spyder House Team, 4725 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO, 80301.
Written submissions are accepted through Nov. 15, 2004. The program starts Dec. 1, 2004, and members are on the team for one season.
Spyder will contact chosen team members via phone and post the team roster Dec. 1 via www.spyder.com. Refer also to the Web site for full details of the program.
