Finding a home in Squamish can feel like the luck of the draw — in fact, it's one of the prizes offered in the 2020 Choices Lottery.
The Choices Lottery raises money for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation and research.
Among the seven homes — the lowest estimated to be worth more than $2.6 million — is a Squamish residence available for move-in this September. Lottery winners also have the choice of taking home $2.2 million in tax-free cash. Other home locations include Tsawwassen, Kelowna, Vancouver, Courtenay, Victoria and Morgan Creek.
There are more than 3,000 prizes in this lottery, including the grand prize homes, the 50/50 lottery and a daily cash game.
"With the help of Choices Lottery, BC Children's Hospital can focus on funding research that goes exclusively to the care of children, from babies to teens, across BC and the Yukon," Teri Nicholas, president and CEO of BC Children's Hospital Foundation, said in a press release. "Not only do we treat sick and injured children, but our ultimate vision is to keep them healthy. Lottery proceeds provide our research team with the knowledge and skills to continue moving our pediatric care to the next level."
