Kindrees season was one highlight after another, starting with a sweep of the B.C. High School Mountain Bike Series, and the B.C. Cup series title.
"He schooled the other juniors and finished second among the pros in more than a few events," said Gary Jackson, the mountain bike technical director for Cycling B.C.
Kindree, who is sponsored by Corsa Cycles, will be moving up to the Pro Elite category this year and has set his sights on bigger and better things.
"It was an amazing year. With help from family, friends and sponsors I was able to accomplish or exceed almost all of the goals I had set for myself last winter," said Kindree. "I would like to win the B.C. Cup series again next year, but that will require a lot of help from others.
"I would also like to get to the worlds."
Kindree has already started training for next season with some light riding, and will get into skate skiing, downhill skiing, running, hiking, rollerblading, weights and lots of stretching during the winter.
