The nomination deadline has come and gone, and the race for Squamish office will be a crowded affair.
There are 18 candidates gunning for regular council. Ron Bahm, Donna Billy, David Clarkson, Alan Forsythe, Patricia Heintzman, Catherine Jackson, Mike Jenson, Rob Kirkham, Paul Lalli, Corinne Lonsdale, Deb McBride, John McIllwraith, Jeff McKenzie, Larry McLennan, Ken Perry, Doug Race, Bryan Raiser and Jorli Ricker are all hoping to make the grade. Lonsdale, McKenzie, Heintzman and Jenson are all incumbents.
Running for mayor are Greg Gardner, Terrill Patterson and John Erickson.
Running for school trustee are Terrill Patterson, Rick Price and Andrea Beaubien.
