Stewardship co-ordinator to speak at AWARE meeting 

WHAT: AWARE meeting, featuring Edith Tobe

Edith Tobe has been a Stewardship Co-ordinator for the Squamish area since 1999, one year after the Habitat Conservation and Stewardship Program was introduced in B.C. by Fisheries and oceans Canada.

On Thursday, March 6, she will be the guest speaker at AWARE’s monthly meeting at the Delta Whistler Resort, discussing her latest campaign initiatives and letting the public know how they can get involved.

Prior to becoming the Stewardship Co-ordinator, Tobe was actively involved with the Squamish River Watershed Society, and has participated in numerous watershed restoration projects in the Squamish and Lillooet River watersheds.
