Edmonton police named Squamish as one of the locations recovered stolen items could be from.

In a June 11 press release, the Edmonton police department said jewelry, specialty spoons, comic books, stamps and a camera are believed to have been stolen from vehicles and during break-and-enters between late 2016 and early 2019. The investigators think they may have been stolen as the suspects moved between the Lower Mainland into southern interior B.C. before crossing into Alberta until being arrested in Edmonton.

Communities the belongings may be from include Squamish, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Vancouver, Okotoks, Calgary and Edmonton.

Edmonton police are looking for the original owners of the items. Photographs can be viewed at the Edmonton Police Service's Pinterest page. People can contact the Edmonton police at epspinterest@edmontonpolice.ca if they believe they see their belongings.

Three people were arrested in January 2019 at a traffic stop, when police discovered the vehicle they were driving had apparently been stolen. It was allegedly rented with stolen identity documents. Forged and stolen identity documents were discovered during the traffic stop along with the stolen property.

The three suspects face 130 charges between them but have yet to have their day in court.
