STORMBC geared up for summer

The summer season is underway for the Single Track Off Road Mountain Bike Club (STORMBC) with programs in Pemberton, Whistler and the North Shore.

In addition to race and freeride camps, STORMBC is offering daily drop-in passes that can be used to customize camps around other summer activities.

In Whistler there is a six-day Six Pac Pass; a 10-day Droppin’ In Pass; a Double Jump Pass for two days a week from June 29 to Sept. 2; a Gravity Kids Freeride and Downhill camp every Wednesday; A Gravity Girls Freeride and Downhill camp on Wednesdays; a Weekend Warriors Pass from July 3 to Sept. 5; and an epic Summer Pass three days a week from June 29 to Sept. 2.

All sessions are coached by fully certified instructors and run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

STORMBC was originally created as a grassroots program for kids interested in mountain biking. It’s now under the umbrella of the Canadian Youth Cycling Clubs Society, a non-profit group offering classes for kids from ages 7 to 18.
