The Single Track Off Road Mountain Bike Club, which is in the process of becoming the racing team of the newly created Canadian Youth Cycling Club, has expanded its focus to include the Pemberton area.
Starting Tuesday, May 20, STORMBC will be hosting after school clinics, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., for youths aged 7 to 18. Certified coaches will lead the clinics.
The cost is $115 for six weeks, with the program wrapping up on June 24.
For an added incentive, STORMBC/CYCC members receive half off Whistler Mountain Bike Park passes for the 2003 season, 10 per cent off at Pemberton Bike Co., insurance coverage for club events and rides, and an e-mail account, as well as other perks.
