Strut Your Stuff, Whistler’s Community Registration and Information Fair takes place Saturday, Sept. 11 at Whistler Secondary. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the public is invited to: talk to community group leaders, coaches and RMOW Parks and Recreation staff; tour and talk with adult instructors in the computer, pottery, and woodworking labs; register for fall or seasonal recreational and leisure activities; trade-in small equipment or clothing; take part in mini-displays; and pick up application forms for Kidsport grants. Organizations wishing to reserve a display table, contact the Parks and Recreation front desk at Meadow Park, 938-3133. The cost for non-profit and community service groups is $10, for commercial service groups and suppliers, $25, and $5 for an additional table. Organizers ask that all participants bring their own technical supplies, i.e. tape, extension cords, markers or AV equipment. Strut Your Stuff is organized by Kidsport Whistler.
