DINING OUT FOR LIFE

. On Thursday, March 15 participating restaurants will donate 25 per cent of food revenues to Friends For Life and A Loving Spoonful, two AIDS-related charities.

DUFFLEBAG THEATRE

AMBASSADORS NEEDED.

The ninth annual Sierra Wireless, Air Canada Whistler Cup is an international juvenile ski race that attracts more than 300 skiers from 20 countries. Organizers are looking for volunteers as ambassadors April 4-9 to meet and greet the racers at the hotel, tour the village, accreditation office and attend the coaches meeting if requried. Both English and mulit-lingual ambassadors are needed. Call the Whistler Mountain Ski Club at 932-4644 to volunteer.

INTRODUCTION TO NORTHWEST COAST NATIVE ART.

WARREN MILLER THEATRE

The Leopard Lounge in the AlpenRock House shows Ride , one of filmmaker Warren Miller’s classic flicks on Thursdays, at 6 p.m. Extreme sports including snowboarding and skiing guaranteed to make your hair stand on end. The first 10 minutes were shot in Whistler so check out big action on your own home turf.

FREE AVALANCHE AWARENESS TOURS.

Open to all intermediate to advanced boarders and skiers. Tours depart daily at 9 a.m. from the Guest Relations counter in the Blackcomb daylodge. Tours last all day and allow participants to develop a sense of what they need to accomplish before they go out of bounds and into the backcountry.

ON THE TRAILS

Come out every Tuesday night between 6 and 8 p.m. for free tips on Classic and Skate cross-country technique. A one time $5 seasonal membership to our local ski club – Whistler Nordics – is all you pay for the instruction. Rentals and trail passes are available at evening rates.

Thursday is a fun time trial focusing on mere participation. It's the Loonie Races winter style! Bring a friend and join in the Apres. Draw prizes and a big bash at the end of the season.
