VALENTINE SUNDAY BRUNCH.

Hearts and Heritage is the theme for this Sunday brunch at the Westin. Guests will see sights of weddings past and not so far past at this event, which is a fund-raiser for the Whistler Museum and Archives. Brunch will be served at 11 a.m. Feb. 17. Cost is $47, which includes a $20 donation to the museum’s operating funds.

SUN SALUTE-ATHON

. Mind-Body Fitness and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler present the second annual Whistler Sun Salute-Athon Feb. 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Chateau. Proceeds to Whistler’s Food Bank, Crisis Line, KidSport, Re-Use-It Centre and other programs run by Whistler Community Services Society. A Sun Salute is a series of moves co-ordinated with the breath that is used as the initial warm-up in most forms of yoga. Call 604-905-4777 for details.

WHISTLER NORDIC YOUTH PROGRAM.

Mondays from Jan. 14 to March 8 the Whistler Nordic Cross-country Club is running a youth club program for kids age 12 and up. The program runs from 5 to 7 p.m. each Monday at Lost lake Park. Contact Michelle Crowe at 604-932-4447 for information.
