ERAS OF TIME.

Hair and fashion show organized by Farfalla Hair and Body Spa, at the Garibaldi Lift Co. March 20. Cocktails at 7:30; fashion show at 9 p.m. Ticket revenue goes to send children living with HIV and AIDS to Camp Moomba. Proceeds from silent auction go to the Zero Ceiling youth program.

JANA DUPUIS STUDIO RECITAL.

WHISTLER DAFFODIL DAY 2002.

One-hundred volunteers are needed to sell daffodils at Nesters, IGA, The Grocery Store and Upper Village Market on Saturday, March 30. All proceeds to benefit the Canadian Cancer Society. If you can donate two hours of your time, please call Joanne Turner at 604-938-1902.

WHITEWATER STREAM INVENTORY

. Confluence Environmental Consulting is hosting a public open house for Sea to Sky residents interested in a whitewater stream inventory project now in progress for the area. Whether you paddle, swim, fish, or walk area creeks and rivers, your input is welcome. Whitewater paddling videos featuring local and international footage will be shown. LAND BANK OLYMPIC LEGACY OPEN HOUSE.

Public feedback regarding the land bank, one of the possible legacies of the 2010 Olympic bid will be presented in Whistler council chambers, March 21, 5-7 p.m.

FRIENDS OF WHISTLER PUBLIC LIBRARY.

Annual general meeting is April 3, 7:45 p.m. at the library. The purpose of this meeting is to elect a new executive. This group will undertake fund-raising events to contribute to the operating budget of the library.

HELPING HANDS

SIERRA WIRELESS-AIR CANADA WHISTLER CUP. Seeking volunteers for this international juvenile ski race April 3-7. Children aged 11-14 from 21 nations will be competing. We are seeking ambassadors that speak Korean, Spanish, Japanese, German, Croatian, Polish, French and Russian. We also have on- and off-hill jobs. ZERO CEILING SEEKING DONATIONS.

Zero Ceiling Society of Canada, a non-profit society, seeks donations to one of their youth programs. They are looking for four snowboards, sizes 152,158, and two boards at 161; Four pairs of boots in sizes 25, two pair at 28, and one pair of size 29; four sets of bindings.
