What: 6 th Annual Mountaineers Soiree presents Peter Croft

Cost: $10 in advance, $12 at the door
Tickets are still available to the sixth annual Mountaineers Soiree, a fundraiser for the Brian Ebert Memorial Fund, a scholarship program for aspiring mountain guides, and the Provincial Emergency Programs (PEPs) mountain rescue training programs for Search and Rescue volunteers.
There will be a beer garden and silent auction with more than $20,000 in prizes, including heliskiing trips, outdoor gear, art, restaurant and hotel packages and more.
The featured event of the evening is a slideshow by Peter Croft, a Canadian climbing legend who is known for making dramatic firsts and link-ups on some of the worlds most notorious walls many of them solo. Locally Croft is revered for making some challenging first ascents on the Stawamus Chief in Squamish.
Tickets are $10 in advance at Escape Route in Whistler or Valhalla Pure or Climb On in Squamish, and $12 at the door. The event gets underway at 6 p.m.
