The B.C. Cup mountain biking series continued in Panorama last weekend with the annual Mad Trapper cross-country and downhill events.
In the cross-country race, Whistlers Brandon Semenuk finished in fourth place with a time of 57 minutes, 56 seconds, four minutes behind the lead in the Under 15 category.
James Crowe took a close one in the Under 17 Expert Men, taking the win by 37 seconds with a time of 1:31:07.
His father Eric Crowe also won the Master 40 and Over Expert Mens division, finishing the course in 1:32:55.
In the Junior/Under 17 Expert Women, Brook Baker finished second in 1:34:14, ten minutes behind the leader.
In the Elite Mens contest, Tyler West finished seventh in 2:56:32. Trevor Hopkins was 12 th .
Angela Teng was second among Elite Women, finishing the course in 2:18:50, seven minutes behind the winner.
In the downhill race, Brook Baker took the womens Junior Expert race in 4:02.09.
