The 19 th annual Whistler Valley Trial Run is set to go this Sunday, May 30 with both 5 km and 10 km courses available in Lost Lake Park.

The run is entirely on gravel roads and trails, but nothing too steep or technical - although it might not feel that way after the uphill start.

The 10 km runners head up Lower Panorama to Old Mill Road, come back on Tommy Moore to Molly Hogan, then loop back around the lake to Vimy Ridge and Tin Pants, which they follow back to Lower Panorama before doubling back to Spruce Grove.

The 5 km runners head up Lower Panorama and Helen's Corner's to Molly Hogan, then come back on Old Mill Road before retracing their route on Lower Panorama to the start line.

Online registration is still available, but if you leave it past Friday you can register from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Salomon Store, or from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Sunday at Spruce Grove Park. The run starts at 9 a.m.

The price is $25 for either run or $45 for a family of up to five runners.

All of the proceeds from the event go towards youth projects through the Youth Community Foundation of Whistler.
