Three more rezoning applications to allow single family houses to operate as villas were given first and second reading by council Monday, and three more applications fell by the wayside. Applications for villas at 2804 Clifftop Lane and 2840 Clifftop Lane in Millar’s Pond and at 6104 Eagle Drive in Whistler Cay Heights were all rejected by council Monday. Villa applications for 6147 Eagle Drive, 3257 Archibald Way in Alta Vista and 8326 Rainbow Drive in Alpine Meadows all received first and second reading and will be the subject of public hearings prior to council considering third reading. Councillors Nancy Wilhelm-Morden and Dave Kirk opposed all six rezoning applications.
