Vote early, vote May 16 — just vote

Election BC reminds anyone who is unable to vote in the provincial election on May 16 that advance polling is available from May 9 to May 12, between noon and 9 p.m., at special venues throughout the province.

Voters in the West Vancouver-Garibaldi riding can cast their votes in advance at the Whistler Conference Centre at 4010 Whistler Way, at the West Vancouver Presbyterian Church at 2893 Marine Drive, or at Squamish’s Brennan Park Recreation Centre located at 1009 Centennial Way.

On election day, May 16, voting takes place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. In Whistler, voting takes place at the Whistler Conference Centre. In Pemberton, voters go to the Pemberton Community Centre. In Mount Currie, the polls will be at the Mount Currie Gym. In D’Arcy, voters will go to the N’Quat’qua Community Hall. And in Squamish, voting takes place at the Brennan Park Recreation Centre.

Advance registration has closed but anyone who qualifies to vote in the provincial election and has not registered can still sign up if they bring two pieces of identification to the polling stations, both containing their name, current address and signature.
