WAVE to chauffeur dry grads

The Whistler and Valley Express will chauffeur this year’s graduating class during Whistler Secondary’s dry grad festivities, bringing the students from the ceremony at Spruce Grove to the after-party at Merlin’s.

Community Youth Outreach Worker Greg McDonnell organized the bus for the evening. Students will also be receiving free bus passes for the night of the grad through GradPass, a B.C. Transit program created in 1988 to keep grads out of cars and prevent drinking and driving incidents.

In Whistler, the program is supported by the municipality and Wave.
