What’s out there for tourists 

Tourism is becoming super competitive and deals are everywhere for the savy shopper.

Here are just a few of the deals, which include lodging, air from the Eastern Seaboard, and lift tickets, currently on offer for those who want to vacation in Whistler. All prices in Canadian dollars.

The Coast Whistler is offering a five night stay from $1,418.

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is offering five nights from $1,733.

Blackcomb Lodge is offering four nights in a studio from $1,263.

The Summit Lodge is offering a studio for six nights from $1,458.

Glaciers Reach is offering six nights from $1,518.

The Aspens is offering two-bedrooms for five nights from $1,548.

Most of these deals run from Nov. 22 to the middle or third week of December.

Tourism Whistler is offering these deals:

• Mountain Magic: Five nights accommodation, 4-day lift ticket, and round trip transportation from Vancouver International Airport. Starts at $605.

• Absolute Adventure: Five nights accommodation, four day lift ticket, one snowmobiling tour, and round trip transportation from the airport. Starts at $699.

• Family Fun: Five nights accommodation for four, four day lift tickets, sleigh ride with entertainment. Starts at $679

• Weekend Getaway: Five nights accommodation, one hour massage, and one cooking class. Starts at $469.

• Pamper Me: Five nights accommodation, four day lift ticket, one hour massage, round trip transportation by limo from the airport. Starts at $1,279.

• Heli High: Five nights accommodation, three day lift ticket, and four runs of heli skiing. Starts at $1,075.
