Whistler Cup wants you

The Sierra Wireless-Air Canada Whistler Cup international juvenile ski race is looking for volunteers.

While the usual course Weasels and support workers are invited to come out, with 21 nations bringing teams to race this year, event organizers are looking for some special help this year – ambassadors that speak Korean, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, French and Russian.

If you’re interested, contact Chris Leighton at the Whistler Mountain Ski Club at 604-932-4644, or drop by the club cabin at the Creekside base.

The Whistler Cup draws the top juvenile racers from around the world aged 11 to 14. Many Whistler Cup competitors have gone on to race at the World Cup level.
