The Whistler Gymnastics Club can help your holiday clean-up with a fundraising bottle drive on Jan. 4.
The money raised will go to help the Whistler Secondary Storm gymnastics team take part in the provincial championships this March. Any leftover money will go towards some badly needed new equipment.
Several bars and restaurants are participating, and volunteers from the club will be at the bottle depot at Nesters if you want to drop off any bottles or cans.
Volunteers will be going door-to-door at Whistler-Blackcomb staff accommodation to ask for bottles, and will make home pick-ups of large quantities of bottles and cans by special arrangement. To arrange a pickup, contact Whistler Gymnastics at 604-902-FLIP (3547).
