All the approvals are now in place, allowing organizers of the North Face Whistler Half Marathon to tell the public the route for the 21.1 km event.

The start and finish for the June 4 race will be at the Whistler Olympic Plaza. Runners will head up Lorimer Road and then down to Crabapple Lane before climbing and descending Blueberry Hill to St. Anton Way. From the there, the course loops through Alta Vista - Archibald, Lakeside and Alpine Crescent - before returning to the bottom of Lorimer via the Valley Trail. The next section is out-and-back to Rainbow Park along the Valley Trail, a lap of Balsam and Easy Street and all the way along the Valley Trail on the other side of the Whistler Valley Golf Course to Whistler Village. The last part of the course winds through the village, then connects to White Gold/Spruce Grove where it follows a lap of Ambassador Crescent, Nancy Greene Drive and Fitzsimmons Road South before heading back to the start via the Valley Trail and Lot 4.

There's a total elevation gain of 250 metres from start to finish, and four major hills.
