The A Division is for schools around the province with 500 students or less.

The teams will arrive on Oct. 29, and start playing on Oct. 30 in a round-robin tournament. Each team will play up to four games a day on the first two days of the tournament. The playoffs will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1, followed by the closing ceremonies.

Games will be held at both Myrtle Philip and Whistler Secondary to accommodate all the teams.

The Whistler Secondary team has been on a roll recently, winning their last three games against Pemberton, Mount Currie and Lillooet.

This is only the second time that the Whistler team has qualified for the A Championships.
