Whistler 'kids' and neighbourhoods dress up for Halloween

The spooktacular night ends with amazing fireworks thanks to Whistler firefighters and Nesters

About 900 kids thronged the Tapley's neighbourhood last night to trick or treat and enjoy the amazing "haunted" houses.

Luckily the rain stopped as the festivities got under way. Most parents got into the swing of the fun too, with plenty of "adult-sized" zombies, clowns and other spooktacularly costumed grown-ups wandering the neighbourhood.

The night came to a thunderous end with an amazing display of pyrotechnics thanks to the Whistler fire department and Nesters. The thunderous fireworks could be seen for kilometres.

Tapley's wasn't the only neighburhood enjoying Halloween. Cheakamus Crossing and Rainbow neighbourhoods got into the spirit as well.

Photographer Dave Buzzard was out and about and captured some of the sights.
