Whistler Museum looking for a few good programmers

The Whistler Museum and Archives is seeking individuals to join its programming committee.

The committee meets bi-monthly to assist in planning and developing exhibits, public programs, community outreach projects and special events. The volunteer position offers the opportunity to gain museum and archival experience and to learn more about the history of Whistler. The committee answers to the museum’s board of trustees.

The museum is currently showcasing Picturing Whistler: Local Faces, Local Spaces – an exhibition of photos taken by selected community members exploring the theme of community identity by asking "what is local?"

For more information on the programming committee call 604-932-2019 or e-mail info@whistlermuseum.org.
