The Whistler Storm senior girls volleyball team recently won a tournament at Howe Sound Secondary against the teams they would face in the Zone Playoffs.

A wildcard round robin was later played at Whistler Secondary to determine which high school would get a berth for the provincial championship.

The White Team displayed amazing team play, hustle, and skill to win the championship match against Pemberton. Lilli Baker, Brittany Duggan and Carly DePatie provided solid play at the net, while Megan Lande and Brittany Kingzett provided consistent passing and offence. Mia Daniels and Christine Inniger served for many points and provided good sets for the attackers.
