The hills are alive… again as the annual Whistler street entertainment comes alive this weekend with the talents of several performers.

The streets come alive for seven hours per day, Saturday through Monday this long weekend with a host of entertainment presented in conjunction with Tourism Whistler.

Jugglers, comedians and singers will be performing throughout the village.

Vancouver’s Mike Battie, a physical performance artist, performs four sets per day alongside the Trolls Duo, two trolls in character dress, and Moodswing, the musical outfit from Vancouver.

Shows take place on weekends through June 23 at various venues around the village. Daily street entertainment through the summer starts June 24.

And keep your eyes peeled for the Jazz and Blues weekend, which takes place June 14 through 16, with this year’s headliner, first Canadian rock bad boy then charmingly convincing swing king, Colin James.

Additional confirmed acts for the festival include funky jazz group Spacious Couch with a jam at the Brewhouse, swing dance lessons from Acme Dance Factory, and the gospel sounds of Circle of Voices on Father’s Day at the Fairmont Chateau.
