Whistler’s Samantha Ellis, a member of the senior Seawolves team, qualified for the provincial championships in four events last weekend with strong performances in the B.C. Summer Swimming Regionals in Squamish.

Ellis, who trains with the Whistler Seawolves in the winter and the Squamish Pirates in the summer, competed in the 200 metre Individual Medley, the 50M Butterfly, the 100M Breastroke and the 100M Backstroke.

In order to qualify for the provincial championships, you have to finish in the top-three at a regional championships or get a Provincial Qualifying Time at a sanctioned meet.
