Eagle Tours, a Whistler-based full service golf and snow sport tour operator, will now offer golf vacation packages to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
Eagle Tours began by offering full service golf vacation packages to Whistler Resort in 1997 and has since expanded to include golf and ski vacations to Whistler and Mont-Tremblant.
"The Los Cabos ‘Corridor’ has so much to offer that we are confident everyone who visits Cabo will have the vacation of a lifetime," said Eagle Tours President Shelley Quinn.
The Los Cabos area is located at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet. It is renowned for its desert and ocean landscape.
Six championship golf courses, a pristine coastline and resort style accommodations lie in between the points of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo.
Cabo San Lucas is home to many resort hotels and a lively nightlife. San Jose Del Cabo is a quiet colonial town approximately 30 km away.
The courses were designed by golf greats Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf and Robert Trent Jones.
"The holes right on the beach are truly amazing," said Quinn. "They really take advantage of the natural beauty (of the surroundings)."
