Whistler’s Deeks to head provincial homebuilders

Local homebuilder Bob Deeks of RDC Fine Homes is taking the helm of the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) of British Columbia.

After being on the executive for four years, Deeks will assume the role of president this month.

It is a one-year commitment.

He is the first member of the Sea to Sky chapter of the CHBA to serve as president.

The association is the voice of the residential construction industry in the province, with a goal to seeing it operate effectively and professionally. In addition to conducting the board meetings, Deeks will be the chief liaison with government.
