Jennings riding in support of sustainability

sara-jennings.jpg

Beginning in April and finishing some time in October Whistler resident Sara Jennings will be riding across Canada in support of the Otesha Project.

The Otesha Project focuses on educating people, especially school children, about the principles of sustainability and uses bicycle tours, theatre, multi-media, puppetry, and story-telling to engage a wide range of audiences.

Jennings is an early childhood educator at the Spring Creek Children’s Centre and is preparing for the trip that starts in Vancouver and ends in Newfoundland.

In the mean time, Jennings needs help with equipment and fundraising. She can be contacted at 604-932-2556 or sarajennings@hotmail.com. For more information on Otesha look up www.otesha.ca.
