If you've been avoiding Pique's byelection coverage to this point, you've got less than one day to get all caught up.

Head to www.piquenewsmagazine.com and hit the red banner at the top of the homepage for all the election coverage you can handle.

On mobile, type "2017 byelection" into the search tool to find previously published articles.

General voting day is today in the lower level of the Whistler Conference Centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There are seven candidates running for one seat at the council table: Steve Andrews, Kalee Eder, Cathy Jewett, Janice Lloyd, Alon Rimon, Kate Roddick and Dawn Titus.

Preliminary results will be posted online at www.whistler.ca once all ballots have been counted.

While byelections typically draw a lower voter turnout than a full election, this one is tracking slightly ahead of Whistler's 2014 turnout to this point.

A total of 385 people cast ballots during two advance polling days this year, compared to 379 advance ballots in 2014.

The 2014 election drew a total of 2,303 votes (a voter turnout of about 27.3 per cent).

Check back with Pique tomorrow night for results and reaction from the winner, and pick up next week's issue for a full byelection wrap-up.
