A pair of Whistler Mountain Ski Club racers starred in Teck Open super-G action in Kimberley last week.
In men's action, Tait Jordan found the podium twice, winning on Feb. 5 before taking second the next day. Teammates David Wood and Lukas Forssander also hit the top 10 with performances of sixth and ninth, respectively, on Day 1 while the next day, Wood was seventh. Graham Seltzer took ninth.
In six Teck Open races, Jordan has finished no lower than fifth.
On the women's side, Jaden Dawson took home some hardware with a third-place showing in the first round and a second-place result in the second round.
Also in the top 10 on the first day were: Emeline Bennett in fourth, Freya Jumonville in seventh, Fiona McInnes in eighth and Alyssa Emery in 10th. As for the second, Isabella Cross took sixth while McInnes, Emery and Jumonville were seventh, eighth and ninth, respectively.

Thompson nominated for award
After securing her third FIS Crystal Globe last spring, ski-cross racer Marielle Thompson will stand as a nominee for Sport BC's female senior athlete of the year.
In a release on Feb. 13, the organization revealed the 25-year-old would stand against triathlete Heather Wurtele of Kelowna and gymnast Shallon Olsen of Surrey.
In a release, Sport BC president and CEO Rob Newman highlighted the diverse field of nominees.
"Each year the Athlete of the Year Awards selection committee reviews all nominations and recognizes the talented and deserving athletes, coaches and officials," Newman said. "The nominees for the 2018 Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards represent 23 sports and 29 various cities who are all representative of the strength and depth of sport development in our province over the last 52 years. Each year, we are grateful for the support and contribution of our sport and business partners and volunteers."
The awards will be handed out on March 28 at the Westin Bayshore Vancouver Hotel.
Thompson suffered a knee injury that kept her from competing on the FIS World Cup tour to this point this season, but is in PyeongChang, South Korea with hopes of competing in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games this month.
