Missing Squamish woman located

A Squamish woman who had been missing since July 20 has been found, police reported.

Just hours after Squamish RCMP put out a media release asking the public for help locating Tanya Allman, the 40-year-old woman was reported found.

"The Squamish RCMP would like to thank the media and public in assisting us with locating her quickly," read a follow-up release.

On Friday, July 20 at about 10 p.m., Squamish General Hospital staff contacted police for assistance in locating Allman, who had reportedly left the hospital before completing her medical treatment.

Squamish RCMP made "extensive patrols and enquiries" but were not ble to track down Allman until today, July 26.
