Women’s Pro Hockey tickets for sale

Tickets are on sale now for a Meadow Park arena match-up featuring the B.C. Breakers and the Calgary Oval X-Treme women’s hockey teams from the newly formed Western Women’s Hockey League.

The games take place on Friday, Dec. 3, with the doors opening at 6 p.m. and the puck dropping at 6:30.

It’s a small venue and organizers are expecting the game to sell out, so get your tickets in advance at Meadow Park front desk.

Both teams feature some of the top players in the world, with Olympic gold medal winners Hayley Wickenheiser, Cassie Campbell and Danielle Goyette on the X-Treme and U.S. captain Cammi Granato anchoring the Breakers.

Proceeds from ticket sales, and the 50/50 draw, puck toss and autographed memorabilia auction will go towards the Whistler Minor Hockey Association. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for youth 17 and under, and free for kids under the age of six.
