Women’s Voter

Pauline Buck, the president of the Canadian Women’s Voters Congress will address The Women of Whistler meeting Tuesday October 22, 2002. Pauline will discuss the CWVC mandate for getting women involved in the political process.

Pauline Buck, the president of the Canadian Women’s Voters Congress will address The Women of Whistler meeting Tuesday October 22, 2002.

Pauline will discuss the CWVC mandate for getting women involved in the political process.

This includes women educating themselves on the issues or the candidates in their area, participating in the community by joining a local civic board, working on an election campaign or running for office. The congress encourages and supports women who wish to participate in the political process.

All candidates running for positions as Mayor, Councillor or school board member in the up-coming Municipal elections are invited to attend.

Candidates will have an opportunity to meet guests and showcase any election material between 6 p.m. and 7.15 p.m.

The Women of Whistler meeting will be held at the Delta Whistler Suites, on Main Street.

Registration is at 6 p.m. or call the Chamber of Commerce on 604-932-5922 for reservations.
