Old bike to sell? In the market for a used bike?

The annual WORCA Bike Swap takes place this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the base of Whistler Mountain.

If you are looking to sell, be there between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to sign-in, and unsold equipment pickup is between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

WORCA earns a commission of 10 per cent on bikes and accessories that sell for more than $1,000, and 15 per cent on items that sell for $1,000 or less. There is also a charge of $2 per item

All proceeds will go towards WORCA’s youth programs, and youth volunteers earn money – WORCA bucks – towards STORMBC’s programs as well. Last year the bike swap raised more than $3,150.
