Calling all mountain bike advocates, fat tire enthusiasts, and dirt trail addicts – here’s your chance to get more involved.

The Whistler Off Road Cycling Association (WORCA) is hosting its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Spruce Grove Field House, starting 7 p.m.

The AGM will include the results of a rider survey, and an overview of trail ridership, trail work and maintenance projects, Loonie races, clinics and learning programs, membership, youth development, and other WORCA issues.

The presentation will be followed by the election of a new board for next season. There’s no word yet on who is returning, and who plans to step down.

The different positions on the board are President, Past President, Director of Trails, Director of Race, Director of Membership, Director of Youth, Director of Planning, Director of Freeride, Director of Public Relations, Director of Recreational Riding, Treasurer, Director at Large and Secretary.

All positions, with the exception of Past President, are elected by members in attendance at the AGM.

Refreshments, as always, will be cold.
