Whistler is hosting golf events from Aug. 4 to 6 at Whistler Golf Club and Nicklaus North Golf Club. Big Sky Golf and Country Club in Pemberton is also a venue.

As well, the mountain bike event will take place in Whistler from Aug. 4 to 6, based out of Spruce Grove Park.

Orienteering will take place at Brandywine Falls on Aug. 6.

The organizers are looking for volunteers to help stage events in the Whistler area. There are dozens of volunteer positions available ranging from the mountain bike marshals to accreditation. Volunteers must be willing to work two or three shifts from Aug. 2 to Aug. 7.
