Tourism Whistler has a brand new official Web site, called www.mywhistler.com. Its creators are calling it the ultimate online vacation planner.
The site was developed by Tourism Whistler to provide online vacation shoppers with detailed information, photos of the area and price points on a range of services.
It replaces and updates the old site www.tourismwhistler.com.
Web surfers can find out about snow conditions, or book their tee times at the Whistler Golf Club or learn about upcoming events and festivals in the village.
Part of the launch campaign includes a contest for a dream vacation to Whistler with five night's accommodation and a choice of up to $1,500 worth of Whistler adventures for two.
Tourism Whistler has also developed a Japanese language Web site at www.whistler.jp and another site devoted entirely to golf in Whistler at www.whistlergolf.com.
There are other Web sites currently in the works for German and Spanish-speaking users.
