Re: “Whistler, by Nature

I can't agree more. As a business owner on the Sea to Sky (and one of the first commercial businesses after Vancouver) I've had to implement my own trash clean up from what was once a month maybe to weekly. Due to the fact that there isnt proper restrooms in the corridor. If we are going to bill ourselves as a tourist destination we have to support basic needs of said tourists...for free. Toilets, garbage disposal, recycle, dog areas, water, safe smoking areas, etc. I don't think constructing a couple of rest stops is really that difficult or even that costly. I would actually argue we can't afford not to. But hey let's throw a bunch of $ on a consulting firm to tell us the obvious. They can start with sitting in my parking lot on a weekend and counting the people running into the bushes. And I don't want to even comment on the bear death, that one has me way to worked up to be civil.
