Zero Ceiling rummage sale Saturday

Bring out your goods! Bring out your goods!

Whistler’s Zero Ceiling organization is hosting the town’s biggest rummage sale Saturday, Nov. 5 th , from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Telus Whistler Conference Centre.

The organization is still looking for items to put in the rummage sale so if you have something contact Marnie Walter at 604-938-0628 or mwalter@telus.net .

There will be loads of fantastic deals to be had on clothing, some bedding and gear, and small household items at the sale. And this year, thanks to the generosity of Westbeach, there will also be some new items available.

Everything will be priced to sell, as the aim will be to have nothing left by the end of the day.

Coinciding with Whistler’s Welcome Week, sale organizers are hoping to capitalize on the influx of new people to the community who might be in need of discounted clothing and household items.

All money raised will go towards running Zero Ceiling’s innovative Snowboard Instructor Program for street kids. Now in its eighth year, the program trains youth to become Snowboard Instructors. Those that pass get the chance to apply for employment with Whistler-Blackcomb and staff housing.
