Drivers in Central Saanich are being advised that if they use Wallace Drive, they may need to find a new route.
Due to wet weather and soil conditions during sewer-replacement work near Brentwood Bay, a portion of Wallace Drive is being closed.
Until at least mid-May, Wallace Drive from Stelly’s Cross Road to West Saanich Road will be closed to traffic heading south toward Brentwood Bay.
Drivers are advised to take Stelly’s Cross Road to West Saanich Road.
The road will be open as one-way traffic for vehicles headed northbound along Wallace Drive towards Saanichton.
