Saskatchewan reports one new death, one new COVID-19 case in province

REGINA — A person in their 20s is the latest person to die of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan. The government says the individual, who lived in the northern region, is the province's 15th novel coronavirus death.

The government says the individual, who lived in the northern region, is the province's 15th novel coronavirus death.

There is also one new case of COVID-19, bringing Saskatchewan's total number of cases to 806.

Officials say 54 of the cases are considered active.

The new case is someone from Saskatoon who tested positive out of province.

To date, 70,294 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
